In our group, we primarily discussed how we would assign roles in the data visualization for the class blog. While we at first had some trouble deciding what to even do, we eventually agreed that an analysis of the UNR Fonts would be a good project. The question then, of course, was how to go about it. One of us noted how horrible Comic Sans was, and the idea to analyze “good” and “bad” fonts was decided. I (Chad) would analyze the good fonts, while Jamieson would analyze the bad fonts. Melissa would help compile the overall visualization. At first, we agreed to use PiktoChart (and likely will) exclusively, or TimelineJS, but due to wanting interactivity in the visualization, I suggested that we use the software Tableau. We are each working on our respective duties over the weekend, with draft visualization and infographics almost certainly ready by Tuesday.
